Scott R. Schultz, MD, FACR

Scott R. Schultz, MD, is a Founder and Principal in Solmedex, LLC.

He has served as President of Minneapolis Radiology since 1999. In his leadership role, he formed Minneapolis Vascular Physicians, creating a group of vascular surgeons, radiologists and interventional radiologists. He worked with a team to open successful ventures with health systems and independent physician groups, including ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), office-based labs (OBLs), imaging centers, and mobile imaging services. He has also worked with the team to negotiate various contracts including professional service agreements (PSAs) and hospital contracts.

Dr. Schultz is a past President of the Minnesota Radiologic Society. He received the Centurion Award from the JVIR/SIR in 2013 for his editorial accomplishments. He co-founded CARVE, the Clinically Relevant Vascular and Endovascular Conference, 2008.

Dr. Schultz graduated from Georgetown Medical School, Summa Cum Laude, in 1989. He did his Residency and Fellowship at the University of California San Francisco in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology, finishing in 1995.
